What is a real Champion?
A Champion is defined as the following: A person who fights for cause or on behalf of someone. A person
who has defeated or surpassed all limitations or challenges that they set their target on. My definition
is more akin to what the Bible infers or what is derived from Socrates approach to learning. Every human
being is born a Champion by the right of biology. We all won the competition at procreation. Therefore
we are never learning to become a champion. We instead are discovering the Champion inside of each of us
that was given to us by our ancestral birth rite. In other words everyone is born a Champion!
What is a Champion Mindset?
The Champion Mindset is the mindset we adopt and refine over time to slowly uncover and discover our natural inner Champion. When
we discover this Champion, we can then leverage this newer strong version of ourselves to accomplish all life
goals we see as necessary and important to ourselves and for our families, friends, and community. This
applies to sports, relationships, marriage, friendships, education, working relationships, community, etc.
Who is this Champion Mindset for?
This Mindset can be learned and applied by all and any that are interested in it. It will benefit our players
so they can reach success in all of their life goals including sports and basketball.
How do I use the Champion Mindset section?
The easiest way to use the Championship Mindset Section is to study the books and videos posted and begin to
attempt to apply the principles in to all aspects of our lives. I tell my sons that every target we pick is not
a battle, but really a lifelong war. The only way to win this war is to never let up and continue to fight every
battle that comes to us in that war of life for our entire lifespan. Remain flexible, positive, strong, and happy within all of our work and
things we can control. For our student athletes I suggest double dipping. When assigned book reports or reading
assignments in school feel free to use the books below as your reading material. This way you get your book
report done and also learn valuable wisdom during the process.
