Circle Offense Part 2
Bellermine University Coach Scott Davenport pass first offense
1. the initial ball pass dictates the start.
2. if the ball gets passed to the high posts, back door cuts for wings automatically, opposite post and point guard fill spots
3. if it hits the wing, opposite post clears out to wing and the scissor cut begins, first cut same box side, second cut opposite ball side
4. if no score off the scissor cuts, 2nd cutter posts up outside of the key to post up
5. if ball is passed to post, then passer cuts and opposite wing cuts to form inside triangle
6. if ball is not passed to post, swing ball to opposite wing and run 3 through 5 against while post sets back pick above free throw line

Part 2 of 2 of a similar motion offense
Our 14 principles:
We play 4 men out with wings on 3 point baseline and short corner opposite of the ball side.
1. Man to Man full court and closest second side defender jumps ball opportunistically entire full court.
3. Defensive Rebounding by all 5 players
4. Offensive Rebounding by 4 players 3 pt shooter or man rotated behind drive goes to half court on rebound to prevent fast break
5. If shot is made against us grab ball out of the net and inbound immediately to push the ball up the court
6. If shot is missed against us Rebounder dribble pushes the ball and looks to pass up the court if good pass is available.
6b. Attack Sprint up the middle lane on Transition sprinting through the sprint zone.
7. Backdoor cut if dribbled at.
8. Try to drive the ball past the 3 point arc to score
9. Rotate with as opposite wing cuts towards driver if they past the 3 point arc and fill the appropriate spot.
10. If no drive is available pass, cut, fill spot and repeat step 3.
11. Non ball carrier back cuts or face cuts if defender prevents ball or trap is coming.
12. If baseline drive occurs opposite baseline cuts to rim opposite of drive.
13. Designated shooters shoot all open catch and shoot 3 pointers immediately.
14. All non designated shooter shoot within a 10 foot radius.
